Kent R. and Dolores Palmer
Kent graduated from Indiana College of Mortuary Science in 1958. He was a member of Lakeville United Methodist Church, North Liberty Masonic Lodge #266 F & AM, Shrine Club of South Bend, North Liberty OES #290, Past Patron, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend, Orak Temple AAONMS of Michigan City, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, White Shrine of Jerusalem #10, Rebekah Lodge, Avalon Grotto and BPO Elks, San Carlos Golf Club, Fort Myers, FL and 4-Lakes Country Club-Edwardsburg, MI.
He was also a member of Mercator Club and North Liberty Lion's Club. He had foresight and energy and a compassion for people. He served for 35 years in his profession never tiring of serving families. He leaves a wonderful legacy to his sons. Kent R. Palmer passed away on December 5th, 2006. |

K. R. Palmer
K. R. has worked for the Palmer Funeral Homes since 1984. He received his Associate Degree from Purdue University and Mortuary Science Degree from Mid-American College. He is a parishioner at St. Pius X Catholic Church, a member of Potowatomi Kiwanis Club and River Park Business Association. He and his wife Elizabeth have three children Christian, Graham, & Meredith. |

Kerry Palmer
Kerry received his B.A. from Purdue University in 1991 and graduated the following year from Worsham College of Mortuary Science. Kerry is a member of Lakeville Masonic Lodge #353 F&AM, Avalon Grotto, Kiwanis Club Michiami Chapter, Lions Club of Lakeville, and Lakeville United Methodist Church. |

Kristi Palmer Manuel
Kristi received her B.S. from Purdue University in 1988. She taught special education and was also a Regional Sales Manager for in home sales until joining her brothers at the funeral homes in June of 2002. Kristi is the co-manager for Southlawn Cemetery and design consultant for all of our monument and marker sales. She is married and the mother of two children. Bone
Norm has two granddaughters, Katelyn and Lauren. Norm retired June 2007
and is still available to serve families. |

Tracy
Faudree
Tracy serves as an Advanced-Planning Counselor of the Palmer Funeral Homes. He was employed with Palmer Funeral Homes from
1978-1986. From 1986-1996 he was employed with Kaniewski Funeral Homes and returned
to the Palmer Funeral Homes on October 2, 1996. He is a lifelong member of South
Side Church of God where he is on the Board of Christian Education and has served as Music Director since
1985. Tracy is also a member of St. Joseph Lodge #45 F&AM,
Past Master of South Bend Lodge #294 F&AM 1993, 1997 & 1998, Ancient Accepted
Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend, Avalon Grotto and Treasurer for Stonehedge Homeowners

Rev. Greg Crump
Greg has worked for Palmer Funeral Homes since 2007 and received his Associates Degree in Mortuary Science in 2008. He graduated from Anderson University in 1981 with a degree in Christian Ministries and Sacred Music. He served congregations in Nappanee, IN; Norfolk, VA and most recently South Side Church of God, South Bend from 1993 – 2007. He and his wife, Elaine have two children, Kelly (Adam) Ottinger and Mike Crump. Greg is enjoying his new career, which allows him to continue to serve families in this community. |

Crump
Elaine joined the Palmer Staff in March of
1999. She works in the capacity of Secretary at the River Park
location.
She helps keep all the staff organized and is a joy to have as part of the team.
Her husband, Greg, is pastor of the South Side Church of God. She
is the mother of two children. |

Shauna
Luthringer
As a Family Service Counselor since 1993, providing pre-arrangement and
aftercare follow up service, Shauna is committed to helping people
understand their own needs and serving families before their time of
need. She joined the Palmer family in June of 1999. She is a member of
Northway Church of Christ. Shauna is married with a daughter,
son-in-law, and four grandchildren. |

Klotz
Jerry joined the Palmer Family March of 2002. He is on the board
of trustees and is a member of The First Church of God, Nappanee, IN.
Jerry helps with the maintenance of Southlawn Cemetery and Southlawn Cremation Services. Jerry is married with two
children. |

Luthringer
John
joined Palmer Funeral homes in October 2003. He brings 12 years of
experience helping families with funeral planning and grief counseling.
John was raised in Dowagiac, Michigan and has a background in the field
of financial planning and insurance. He is married, has 1 daughter
and 4 grandchildren. He belongs to both Dowagiac and South Bend Radio
control clubs, and is a member of the Northway Church of Christ in
South Bend. John makes Advanced Funeral Planning very natural and
comfortable for the folks who plan ahead. |

Heim
Helen
was employed at 1st Source Bank for 17 years before joining the staff
at Palmer Funeral Homes in September 2003. She works in the capacity
of secretary for Guisinger Chapel and Lakeville Chapel. She
attends Granger Community Church and is a volunteer for Big Brothers,
Big Sisters. She is a board member and the treasurer for River Park
Business Association. She has one son, one daughter and one grandson.

Bill Grenert
Bill Grenert started his employment at Palmer Funeral Home in July of 2005. Bill is a 1981 graduate from Riley
High School. He graduated from Indiana University in 1985, with a degree in Business Administration and Management.
Bill has been married to his wife Laurie since 1992. They have two children, Bryan and Meredyth.

T.J. Metcalf
Tj joined the Palmer family in September of 2006. A lifelong resident of the South Bend area, he graduated from Penn High School and attended Indiana University South Bend majoring in education. After spending 15 years in marketing and advertising, his computer and graphics training brings a new look to the Life's Reflection Memorial videos. Tj plans on enrolling in Mortuary School in the 2009 to further his ability to help families. |

Jim Hanley
Jim graduated from Indiana College of Mortuary Science in 1965. He is a member of St. Pius X Church. He is a United States Army veteran having served as a paratrooper. Jim served many years as a funeral director at Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, as a board member and past president of Hopsice of St. Joseph County; board member and past president of Visiting Nurses Association; and former board member of St. Joseph County Special Olympics. He is married to Hilda and they have four children and one granddaughter. |

Justin Goodman
Justin started his career in funeral service with Palmers in August of 2000, after graduating from Penn High School. Three years later, he went to Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling, Illinois. He graduated in March 2003 with an Associate Degree in Applied Science. He received the Jack Adams Dodge award for the highest combined score in the embalming and restorative art labs.Justin also received the Joan D. Tomczak award for his professionalism and leadership amongst his peers, which was selected by the staff at Worsham College. After completing his education in March of 2004, he joined the staff at St. Joseph Funeral Homes PRC in South Bend. He later had an opportunity in March of 2006 to serve the community in Greenwood, Indiana with Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home. He then worked for Edwards Family Mortuaries in the downtown Indianapolis area. After serving many different walks of life, Justin brought his experience back to Palmer Funeral Homes on February 19, 2007. Justin is a member of Northway Church of Christ in South Bend. He is also a member of the BK Club in Mishawaka. Justin is looking forward to serving the community in which he started his career. |

Christy Brewers
Christy Brewers joined the Palmer Funeral Home Staff in July 2001 as a part-time secretary. She received her B.A. from Ball State University in 1988 and relocated to Elkhart. She lived there with her husband and three sons, where they attend St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.

Susan Taylor
Susan Taylor joined the Palmer Funeral Home Staff in July 2007 as co-manager of Southlawn Cemetery. Susan assists families at their time of need and also assists with sales or with families that are preplanning. She’s married, has two daughters and a member of Lakeville United Methodist Church. Susan graduated in 1994 with an Associates degree in applied science.
