What Our Families Say: TESTIMONIALS
Rick - I wanted to thank you for being so helpful during our fathers service. I have no complaints just appreciation for you and the staff at Palmer. Thank you, Yanira
Of all the things you can do for your family, planning and funding your funeral may be one of the most considerate and caring. Planning and funding your funeral will ease your family's thoughts, and comfort them in their time of loss. It's something you can do now, it's easy, and it's affordable. Make the right choice for those you love.
The initial cemetery had its first burial in 1836. In 1909, the Palmer's Prairie Cemetery was founded and more acreage was purchased. In 1924, additional land was needed and a group of area businessmen formed a corporation, issued shares of stock for capital, purchased 45 acres, and the cemetery was renamed Southlawn Cemetery.
The loss of a pet can be very emotional. It is only appropriate to say farewell in a meaningful way. In April of 2010, K. R. and Kerry Palmer founded a local cemetery and crematory strictly for pets. As a locally owned, family operated business, we are able to provide sensitive care and respect for your pet.
