Anna L. Thacker

Anna L. Thacker, 90, of Lakeland, FL passed away at 8:01 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 2017 at her home.  She was born on February 23, 1927 in Sidney, AR to the late Henry Hugh and Susie (Haley) Williams.  On June 26. 1948 in South Bend, IN, she was united in marriage to Robert Paul Thacker, Sr. who preceded her in death on August 14, 2010.

Mrs. Thacker is survived by her son, Robert (Ramona) Thacker, Jr. of Trinity, AL; seven grandchildren, Thomas (Christi) Thacker, Jr. of Koontz Lake, IN, Kerry (Dan) Munoz of Lakeland, FL, Robert Acker, Jr. of Denver, CO, Benjamin Acker of Denver, CO, Nathan Thacker of NJ, Derek (Amber) Thacker of Memphis, TN and Lucas Thacker of Aurora, CO; nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and two sisters, Ernestine Slade of Evening Shade, AR and Betty (Billy Jo) Weaver of Cave City, AR.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Ann Acker Lynn; son, Thomas W. Thacker; sisters, Veta Smith; an infant sister and brothers, Vurlene, Tilman, Bill, Remmel, Neil and Leniel Williams.

Mrs. Thacker moved to Florida from Lakeville in 2011 , having lived in Arkansas, Colorado and Florida.  She worked for Wirecraft, retiring in 1983 after twenty-three years of service.  Mrs. Thacker was a member of Lakeville, United Methodist Church. 

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Palmer Funeral Home within the Palmer Community Complex,  601 N. Michigan St. Lakeville, IN.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services.
