Ava Michelle Gardner

Ava Michelle Gardner, two months old, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN.

Ava is survived by her parents, DeAngelo Cortez Boyd and Shanae LaShawn Gardner, both of South Bend; maternal grandparents, Thomas Welch and Rose Dixon of Shelby, MS; paternal grandparents, Angelo Willliams and Tanya Newbill of South Bend; paternal great-grandmother, Marian Newbill of South Bend; sister, Da’Myrah Lachelle Boyd; brothers, Xavier DeVaughn Gardner, DeAngelo Cortez Boyd, Jr., and Damian Dorren Boyd; three aunts, Toshara Gardner, Cecilia Newbill, and Tiara Gardner; and several cousins.

Funeral services for Ava will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Palmer Funeral Home—West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00-11:00am on Friday, March 17 at the funeral home, prior to the service.
