Betty Marie Duncan

Betty Marie Duncan, 98, of South Bend, IN passed away at 5:15 a.m. Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Sanctuary at St. Paul.  She was born on February 14, 1919 in Mexico, IN to the late Homer and May Lenhard. 

Betty is survived by two daughters, Sanna (Lee) Callaway of Mishawaka, IN and Karen (Mike) Sharp of Indianapolis, IN; son, Gary (Teresa) McGee of Friendswood, TX; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; thirty-eight great great grandchildren and sister, Ruth Easton of Indianapolis, IN.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, John McGee, Carl Powell and Morris "Don"  Duncan and grandson, Harold Royce Barnes Jr.

Betty lived most of her life in South Bend.  She was a member of Community Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN.   Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.     A Private burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN.
