Betty Ann (Arbuckle) Snyder

Betty Ann Snyder, loving mother and grandmother 87 years old, a lifelong residentof South Bend Indiana passed away at 12:30 AM Friday, May 27, 2016 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, Indiana with her family at her side.  Betty was born on July 4, 1928 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late William A. and Mary (Marquis) Arbuckle. 

Betty is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Don) Nuner of South Bend and Mary Bridger of Elkhart; daughter-in-law, Donna Bridger of South Bend; sons, Michael (Susan) Bridger of South Bend and David Bridger of Mishawaka; grandchildren, Heather (Nayo) Ulloa, Gabriel (Christine) Bridger, Sarah (Chris) Gregori, Jonathan Nuner, Justin Nuner, Colin (Amy) Nuner, Devin (Melissa) Nuner, Matthew Sullivan, Natalie Bridger, Trevor Bridger, Shawn (MaryJane) Bridger, Ryan Bridger and Elizabeth Bridger; fourteen great-grandchildren; and her brother, William Arbuckle of South Bend. Two sons, Gene Bridger and Bill Bridger preceded her in death. Two sisters, Priscilla Johnson and Nancy Arbuckle alsopreceded Betty in death.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave. South Bend, IN.  Pastor Rick McCartney will officiate.  Burial will follow in Sumption Prairie Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family from 10 AM until Noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.
