Betty J. Crofoot

Betty J. Crofoot, 83, of Mishawaka, IN passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Hospice House, South Bend. She was born on July 1, 1925 in South Bend, IN to Virgil and Rae (Feece) Seifer. She moved back to South Bend in 2003 coming from Cincinnati, OH. On August 16, 1942 in South Bend, IN she married Meinard "Fred" Crofoot, who preceded her in death on April 14, 2007.

Mrs. Crofoot is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Jane Crofoot of Superior, WI; daughter in law, Cindy Crofoot of Cincinnati, OH; four grandchildren, Conan (Jenny) Crofoot, Winter (Christina) Crofoot, Arianna (Brian) Thome and Grae (Traci) Crofoot; four great grandchildren, Justin, Katrina, Wesley and Avery; and one brother, Rodney (Pat) Seifer of Edwardsburg, MI. Her son, Tod Crofoot preceded her in death in 2000. Her sister, Charlotte Dunn-Sellers and her brother, Virgil Seifer, Jr. also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Crofoot loved doing for others.

Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, South Bend and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family. Inurment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
