Brea "Tony" A. Thompson

Brea “Tony” A. Thompson, 35, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017 at his home in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on June 16, 1982 in Whittier, CA to David A. Thompson of Duarte, CA, and Millicent "Mimi" M. Martin of South Bend.

In addition to his parents, Tony is survived by his five children, David, Jeremiah, Lyonna, Jaden, and Breanna Thompson; his grandparents, Leo and Arthetta Martin; his aunt, Melinda Martin; his uncle, Marc Martin I; his cousins, Marc Martin II, Jasmine Martin, Judy VanHouten-Williams, Elizabeth Clark, Linda VanHouten-Martin, Alexius Samuel, Alexander Samuel, and Christopher Clark. Tony was preceded in death by his cousin, Jeannie Martin; his loving aunt, Melanie Martin-Williams; and his uncle, Charles Williams.

Tony was employed as a press operator at a steel foundry. He resided in South Bend for most of his life, only recently having moved to Ft. Wayne a year ago.

Memorial services for Tony will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Palmer Funeral Home—West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend, IN. Graveside services and inurnment will follow at Riverview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am on Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
