Brenda Joyce Medler, 65, residing in St. Joseph, MI, passed away at 10:51 pm Friday, August 26, 2016 in Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph, MI. She was born December 29, 1950 in Benton Harbor, MI to the late Edward and Freda (Roberson) Mak, and remained a lifelong area resident.

On January 18, 1969, Brenda married Ronald Medler, who survives. In addition to her loving husband of 47 years, Brenda is survived by her daughter, Christine Beber of Benton Harbor, MI; her son, Ronald (Louise) Medler, Jr. of Melbourne, Australia; four grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Ruby and Lilly; one brother, Jerry (Irma) Hayes of Brownsville, TX; and one step sister, Judy Sales of Milburg, MI. She was preceded in death by a sister, Penny Napier.

There will be no public services. Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
