Brian Eugene Longbrake

Brian Eugene Longbrake,38 of South Bend, IN passed away at 4:39 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2016 at his home.  He was born on March 24, 1978 in South Bend, IN to Luther and Jinny (Richardson) Longbrake.

Brian is survived by his parents, Luther and Jinny Longbrake of South Bend, IN; daughter, Kaydence Nokes of Knox, IN; sister, Roxann (Edward) Leonard of South Bend; two nieces, Abigail and Olivia; grandmother, Shirley Richardson; several aunts and uncles, Marie (Leonard) Crist, Gayle (Ron) Ganus, Barbie (Jack) Quale, Star (Don) Smith, Keith (Sherrie) Longbrake, Eugene (Cathy) Richardson and his dog, Emma    He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eugene Richardson, Herbert Longbrake and Ruth Longbrake.

Brian was a lifelong resident.  He worked as a builder and could build anything without a pattern.  He loved dirt bike motorcycling and going to Red Bud in Michigan.  Brian and his grandfather, Eugene, were always together when he was younger.  He thought his dad was the best cook around and was very protective of his daughter, Kaydence and his nieces, Abby and Olivia.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN.   Friends may visit with the family from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday with services at 7:00 p.m.
