Bruce Duane Cook

Bruce Duane Cook, 62, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away at 5:00 pm Friday, January 12, 2018 at Signature Healthcare, South Bend. He graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor degree and later a Masters degree in social work.  Bruce went on to work as a social worker for 22 years in Indiana and Michigan.

Bruce was born on August 19, 1955 in Emporia, Kansas to Robert Cook  and Ellouise Frances (Allen) Cook.  On May 22, 1994 in South Bend, Indiana he married Mary (Seidl) Cook; who survives.

Along with his loving wife, Mary, Bruce is survived by his father, Robert Cook of Raymore, MO; sister, Stephanie Cook  of Overland Park, Kansas; brother, Doug Cook of Overland Park, Kansas.  Bruce was preceded in death by his mother, Ellouise Frances Cook.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:30 AM at Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Rd, South Bend, IN, 46637.  Friends may visit with the family 10-11:30 AM prior to the service.
