Catherine T. Verhostra

Catherine T. Verhostra, 72, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Trailpoint Village in South Bend, IN. She was born on May 6, 1945 in South Bend to Julius and Margaret (Desich) Tatar, both of whom preceded her in death.

Cathy is survived by daughter, Teresa (Randy) Curran of South Bend; son, Don Verhostra of Niles, MI; three grandchildren, Cassidy Verhostra, Ed Curran, and Joe Curran; and sister, Mary Smith of Culver, IN. In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her brother, David Tatar.

Cathy loved Elvis and tending to her flower garden. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother.

A graveside service for Cathy will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 19, 2018 at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Palmer Funeral Home—Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
