Clarence L Austin

Clarence L. Austin, 78, passed away at Memorial Hospital in South Bend on November 26, 2017. Clarence was a lifelong area resident, born in South Bend to James L. and Vivian (Farris) Austin on November 25, 1939.

Clarence was retired from Allied Stamping, where he worked on the assembly line.  His hobbies included cooking and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly R. (Alvin Jr.) Kyles of South Bend and Erica R. Austin of Indianapolis, as well as six grandchildren: Brandon Austin, Kendra Cabarris, Louis (Lamar) Owens, Travon Austin, Olivia Gadberry and Isabella Kyles. He is also survived by a brother, James (Deborah) Austin of South Bend, his mother, Vivian of South Bend, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Clarence was preceded in death by his father, James L. Austin and brother, Clyde Austin. 

Services for Clarence will be held on December 4 at 12:00 PM at Palmer Funeral Homes - West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend. Friends may call on the family for visitation for one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
