Cleo Turner

Cleo Turner, 67, of South Bend, IN passed away at 12:45 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2017.  He was born on October 17, 1949 in South Bend, IN to Henry and Cleyora (Brown) Turner Sr.  On April 25, 1980 in South Bend, IN he was united in marriage to Clesta Gail Crowell.

Cleo is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years and the love of his life, Clesta G. Turner; children, Tamara, Lucius, Jason, Yvette, Keisha, Tamekia and Shannon; siblings, Samuel (Debbie) Turner, James (Barbara) Turner, Roy (Ola) Turner, Eugene (Carol) Turner, Johnnie Turner, Eva Turner and Albert; special sister-in-law, Carolyn Turner and special brother-in-law, Ernest Herron; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.  He is also survived by his friends, James McCallister, Eddie and Walter White.  Cleo was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, Henry Jr. and Joe

Cleo was a lifelong resident and graduated from John Adams High School, class of 1968.  He retired after forty-three years of service as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service in Elkhart, IN.  He also drove a bus for the South Bend Community School Corporation.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church, 137 E. Indiana Avenue, South Bend, IN..  Rev.
