Connie Jean Bowlds

Connie Jean Bowlds, 63, of South Bend, IN passed away at 5:35 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Memorial Hospital.  She was born on November 14, 1953 in South Bend, IN to Robert and Betty (Myers) Miller. 

Connie is survived by her husband, Daniel Lee Bowlds; two daughters, Daniela (Michael) Gathright of Indianapolis, IN and Desiree (Patrick) Bowlds-Hurtle of South Bend, IN; six grandchildren, Michael Gathright, Malcolm Gathright, Izabella Bowlds, Noah Bowlds, Priscilla Bowlds-Hurtle and Wolfgang Bowlds-Hurtle.   She was preceded in death by her brother, James Miller.

Connie was a lifelong resident of South Bend.  She worked as a cashier for Wal-Mart.  Connie was a twenty-nine year member of AA.  She loved to help others and volunteered her time.  Connie loved her family very much especially her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN.  Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com
