Craig A. Waldron, 61, of Walkerton, IN passed away at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, IN after a lengthy illness.  He was born on February 17, 1954 in LaPorte, IN to the late Phillip and Louise (Paddock) Waldron Jr.  On September 15, 1984 in Walkerton, IN, he was united in marriage to Vicki Ann Morris.

Craig is survived by his wife, Vicki A. Waldron; son, Jeremy (Becca) Waldron of Longwood, FL who was the light of his life; two grandchildren, Laila and Stella; three sisters, Lana, Debbie (Kevin) and Karen (Bill) and many nieces and nephews.

Craig was a lifelong resident of Walkerton, IN.  He was a graduate of John Glenn High School and attended Ivy Tech.  He served his country honorably in the United States Navy.  He was very proud of his service aboard the aircraft carrier, the USS Independence during the Viet Nam war, and always insisted on flying the American flag at home. Craig loved the outdoors, and worked in the landscaping business all of his life.  He never knew a stranger and was a devoted husband and father. Craig was happiest camping and fishing with friends or canoeing for miles with his "babydoll", which he affectionately always called his wife.

Per Craig's request, there will be no services or visitation.  Palmer Funeral Home-North Liberty and Southlawn Cremation are assisting the family.

Contributions in memory of Craig A. Waldron may be offered to Hospice Foundation, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com
