Delores I. (Sills) Zimmerman

Delores I. Zimmerman, aged 79, of South Bend, IN passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Memorial Hospital.  Delores was born on March 26, 1938 in Delphi, IN to the late Ivan and Nellie (Kravets) Sills.  On July 14, 1956 in South Bend, she married John A. Zimmerman, who survives. 

In addition to her husband, Delores is also survived by her son, Jeffrey (Melissa) Zimmerman of Virginia; three grandchildren, Tiffany, Hillary and Cody; two sisters, Rosie Woodcox of South Bend and Marjorie Rupert of Bremen, IN.  Delores was preceded in death by her sister, Eileen Chapman. 

Delores was employed at Real Services for 21 years as an Administrative Secretary and was a member of the Harvest Church of Christ in South Bend.

A Memorial Service for Delores will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Palmer Funeral Home – Guisinger Chapel; 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend, IN.  Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
