SOUTH BEND – Dennis L. Girten, Jr., 49, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away at 10:30 AM Thursday, July 16, 2015 at his home.

Dennis was born on November 2, 1965 in Elkhart, Indiana to Dennis L. Girten, Sr. and Sharon (Wilson) Girten, and has remained a lifelong resident of this area, attending Elkhart Memorial High School.  Dennis enjoyed his job, working as a lineman for 26 years, with AT&T.  He also loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Dennis is survived by his father, Dennis L. (Patricia) Girten, Sr. of Osceola, IN; mother, Sharon Girten of South Bend, IN; sister, Jennifer D. Girten (Brian Price) of Mishawaka, IN; three brothers, Glen, Kurt, and Eric Weimer all of Osceola, IN; four nephews, Joshua and Jacob Girten-Miller, Gavin and Eathyn Weimer; and niece, Braylyn Weimer.

Memorial gathering for Dennis L. Girten, Jr. will be from 2:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Papa Vino’s, 5110 Edison Lakes Pkwy, Mishawaka, IN 46545
