Donald Leroy Roher, age 65, of South Bend, passed away Friday evening in his home. He worked for B&B which later became Superior Waste and then Waste Management for over 25 years retiring in 2004. Donald was born on July 4, 1949 in Mishawaka to the late Carson Andrew and Jeanette (Cox) Roher and has lived in this area all of his life.
On November 20, 1999 in South Bend he married Pauline Ann (Gibson) Roher who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Pamula Sue (Perez) Grinston of South Bend, Lynda Ruth (Terrance) Lewis of South Bend and Dawn Irene (Timothy) Sampson of Redding, CA, Dana Lynne Gibson of South Bend; two sons, Lawrence Donald Roher of Spokane, WA, Kirk Alan “Bubba” (Bernadette) Bell of South Bend, 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and numerous brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday, July 9 at Palmer Funeral Home – North Liberty, 202 North Main Street. Burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery. Friends may gather with the family for one hour prior to the service.
