Dustin Paul Annis

Dustin Paul Annis, 21 years old, passed away on Friday afternoon, June 17, 2016 in Lakeville as the result of an automobile accident. Dustin was born on November 12, 1994 in South Bend and has been a lifelong resident of North Liberty.

Dustin is survived by his parents, Paul D. and Diane L. (Howell) Annis of North Liberty; two sisters, Ashleigh (Cory) Newland of South Bend and Kayleigh (Alex) Penzenik of Lakeville; grandparents, Dwight and Virginia Annis of North Liberty; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Dustin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald "Lefty" and Susie Howell, Deloris Drinsky and his beloved miniature Doberman Miles, aka “Killer”.

Dustin was currently working at Gulf Stream Coaches in Nappanee. He attended Vincenne's University for one year and was enrolled at Indiana University at South Bend since 2015 where he would have finished his sophomore year studying Criminal Justice, with the intent of entering Law Enforcement. Dustin was a 2013 graduate of John Glenn High School and a member of the North Liberty Church of Christ. He enjoyed target practice at the range, riding his motorcycle, animals, golfing, and playing video games. Dustin was active with I.U.S.B.'s division of Impact Ministry.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the North Liberty Church of Christ, 65225 S. R. 23, North Liberty. Pastor Tim Stewart will officiate. A private burial will take place in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21st, and one hour prior to services on Wednesday, at the North Liberty Church of Christ. Palmer Funeral Home-North Liberty is assisting the Annis family.
