Edith Arnold

MISHAWAKA – Edith L. Arnold, 86 years old, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Creekside Village, Mishawaka.  She was born on May 6, 1930 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Joseph and Lucille (Carpenter) Garrett.  On March 21, 1963 in Niles, Michigan Edith was united in marriage to Richard Arnold, who survives.

Along with her loving husband, Richard, Edith is survived by daughters, Linda J. (Phillip) Bennett of Charleston, Maine and Deanna (Trell Schlundt) Arnold of Osceola; stepdaughter, Cheryl (Steve) Orin of St. Cloud, Florida; her son, Joe (Jill Sinclair) Arnold of Granger, Indiana;  grandchildren, David, Aaron, Richard, Justin and Brent; step-grandson, Wayne; nine great-grandchildren; and her brother, Bill Allen of Goshen.

Edith was a former member of the Eastern Star. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615, where friends may visit with the family two hours prior to services.  Rev. William Bruneau will officiate.  Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend, IN.
