Elizabeth A. Shelley

Elizabeth A. Shelley, 65 years old, of Mishawaka, IN passed away at 10:05 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.  She was born on September 17, 1949 in Lubbock, TX to the late Guy and Margaret (Smith) Shelley II. 

Elizabeth is survived by her son, James (Michelle) Shelley of Mishawaka, IN; seven grandchildren, William Tracey, Jonathan Shelley, Steven Tracey, Regienald Shelley, Nicole Shelley, Guy Shelley and Roselyn Shelley and sister, Margaret Shelley of Mercer, PA.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Nell Anderson and brother, Guy Shelley III.

Elizabeth was a federal employee working for the Department of the Navy.  She lived most of her life in San Diego, CA and Washington D.C. and moved to Mishawaka a few years ago.  She attended Kern Road Mennonite Church, South Bend.   

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Southlawn Cemetery, 61300 U.S. 31 South, South Bend, IN.  Pastors Dave and Janice Sutter will officiate. A private visitation will be held for family at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend.
