Elizabeth Carol (Reid) Turner

Elizabeth Carol Turner, age 73, of South Bend, IN passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. Elizabeth worked in the food services department at the University of Notre Dame.

Elizabeth was born on October 11, 1944 in Manassas, VA to William Reid and Dorothy (Davis) Reid. In 1977 she married John Turner, who preceded her in death in 1988. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters Michelle Birkla of South Bend, Cindy Birkla of South Bend, Nancy (Steven) Lentsch of Buchanan, MI, Trudy (Eddie) Ford of South Bend, and Sue Haringer of Arnasas Pass, TX; sons John (Michelle) Turner of Mishawaka, IN, James Turner of South Bend; and sister Joan Potts of Manassas, VA. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her daughter Pat Becker, son Steven Birkla, and son-in-law John Haringer.

According to Elizabeth’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. An inurnment will happen at a later date in Virginia.
