Eric was born on January 24, 1961 in Jeffersonville, IN to the late Charles and Gloria (Hooker) Stouffer and has resided in this area since 1975 coming from Maryland. He attended Riley High School, South Bend.

Eric honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was a Certified Auto Mechanic and enjoyed working at many different locations, including Babcock Marathon on Cedar Street and Smitty’s Muffler & Brakes. He previously attended Grace Brethren Church.

On July 19, 2013 in South Bend, he was united in marriage to Yolanda T. Campbell, who survives. He is also survived by his daughters, Winona Stouffer and Amanda Stouffer, both of South Bend; sons, Michael Stouffer of San Francisco, CA and Patrick Stouffer of Mishawaka; step-son, Atreyu Campbell of South Bend; and brother, Greg Stouffer of Mishawaka. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Stouffer.

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615 to assist with final expenses.
