Eva A.(Laratta) Orlowski, 86, of South Bend, IN passed away at 9:08 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 at Hospice House, South Bend. She was born on May 14, 1924 in Logansport, IN to the late Pasquale and Rosina (Servodio) Laratta. On January 15, 1949 in Logansport, IN she married Edmund Orlowski, who preceded her in death on February 8, 1991.

Mrs. Orlowski is survived by two daughters, Debra Orlowski and her husband Ron Nelson of Mishawaka, IN and Sandra Orlowski of Mishawaka, IN; four grandchildren, Matthew (Kimberly) Hammons of Bremen, IN, Timothy Hammons of FL, David (Selah) Hammons of FL and Stasia Orlowski of South Bend, IN and two great grandchildren, Rylee and Rachel. A sister, Frances Smith preceded her in death.

Mrs. Orlowski was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church.

Private family services will take place. Burial will take place in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
