Genevieve R. Kuespert, age 82, residing in Granger, Indiana passed away at 6:41 pm Friday, November 17, 2017 at home surrounded by family and friends.  Genevieve was a cashier for 35 years at Hank’s Supermarket in Roseland.  She was born on December 22, 1934 in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of the late Leonard J. and Jennie E. (LaFaucia) Madison.  Genevieve married Jack Kuespert on March 14, 1952, in St. Joseph Church, South Bend.  Jack preceded her in death on April 16, 2010. 

Genevieve is survived by her son, Leonard Kuespert of Granger and her niece, Patty Madison, who lived with them.  Genevieve was preceded in death by her five sisters, Anna Crist, Vickie Wolfe, Frances Redman, Mary Madison and Helen Moore; and two brothers, Leonard Madison and James Madison. 

Genevieve was an avid sports fan.  She loved Notre Dame Football and her Chicago White Sox.   Genevieve loved cooking her Italian meals for everyone. 

I would like to thank the nurses and aides from Grace Hospice for the excellent care.  Also, thanks to her caregiver, Lisa.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Rev. Ron Drake will officiate.  Palmer Funeral Home-River Park is assisting with arrangements. Online condolences may be left at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
