Gerald “LeRoy” Conlay

October 9, 1951 – August 18, 2016

Gerald “LeRoy” Conlay, 64 years old, of Mishawaka, Indiana passed away at 2:45 pm Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Trail Point Village, South Bend, Indiana. 

LeRoy was born on October 9, 1951 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan to the late Everett and Rosella (Adams) Conlay.  On July 23, 2016 in Granger, Indiana LeRoy married Bruce Puckett, who survives.

Along with Bruce, he is survived by their dog, Liz Beth;  two sisters, Tina (Dan) Johnston and Kathy (Tony) Pompa; two brothers, Ray (Annette) Conlay and Jerry (Wanda) Conlay; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Mark) Hansen, Diane Coons and Nancy Riskovitch; brothers-in-law, David (Dee) Puckett and Craig (Molly) Puckett; and many nieces and nephews

LeRoy loved flowers and gardening.  He was an outstanding cook and baker.  The crust was the key to the apple pie.  He was an avid dog lover.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, August 26, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend.  Chaplain Sunday Adelakin will officiate.  Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 PM Friday until time of services in the funeral home.
