Guadalupe Bueno

Guadalupe Bueno, 81, of South Bend, IN passed away at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Memorial Hospital.  He was born on April 29, 1934 in Elroy, Texas to Jose and Albesa (Benavidez) Bueno.  On August 4, 1951 in Missouri, he married the former Selestina Garcia.

Mr. Bueno is survived by his wife, Selestina Bueno; four daughters,  Selestina (Patsicio) Lugo of FL, Guadalupe (Roberto) Salazar of South Bend, IN, Dominga Bueno of South Bend, IN and Isidora Bueno of South Bend, IN; five sons, Jose Luis Bueno of South Bend, IN, Claudio (Martha) Bueno of South Bend, IN, Jesus Bueno of South Bend, IN, Romero Bueno of TX and Luis Bueno of South Bend, IN; fifty-eight grandchildren; one hundred twelve great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; four sisters, Martina Cruz of TX, Juana Cantu of South Bend, IN, Maria Olvera of FL and Regoria Guerero of TX and two brothers, Pablo Bueno and Fidencio Bueno, both of South Bend, IN.   He was preceded in death by his parents and four grandchildren.

Mr. Bueno moved to South Bend in 1963.  He was the former owner and operator of Bueno Body Shop in South Bend.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, 829 W. Calvert Street, South Bend, IN.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday and 4:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN and one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church.
