Henrietta M. Jaycox

Henrietta M. Jaycox, age 72, of Mishawaka, IN passed away peacefully on Monday, March 12, 2018 at her home. Henrietta was a beloved homemaker. She was well-known for her baking and cooking skills, especially at holidays. She was a member of the Mother Trucker Darts Team, which was in the Marroni’s Dart League.

Henrietta was born on May 27, 1945 in Poughkeepsie, NY to William and Henrietta Jaycox. She lived in the Michiana area for most of her life. Henrietta is survived by her companion of over 20 years John Kleinrichert. She is also survived by her daughters Earline Garcia of Mishawaka, IN, Tammey Dougall of South Bend, Linda May Stevens of South Bend, Dorline Della Stevens of Argos, IN, Barbara Ann Stevens of Mishawaka, and Billie Joe (Abel) Mercardo of Mishawaka, IN; step-children Kelly, Carol, John Kleinrichert Jr., and Robin French; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and brothers Harry, Nippie, and Wayne. She is preceded in death by her step-son Chris Kleinrichert; brothers Sonny, Jimmy, and Kenny; and sisters Irene, Pinky, and Bev.

A memorial gathering for Henrietta will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in the care of Palmer Funeral Homes, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615.
