Janis Elizabeth (Clark) Ross

Janis Elizabeth Ross, 66, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Memorial Hospital.  She was born on December 16, 1950 in South Bend, IN to the late Joseph Edwin and Barbara (Belle) Clark.  On May 22, 1982 in South Bend, she married Joseph Ross, who survives.

In addition to her husband, Janis is survived by her brothers, Robert (Gail) Clark of South Bend and Nathan Clark of Niles, MI.  She was preceded in death by her brother Rodger Clark. 

She was always the boss, who wanted things to be done in the right way, her way!  But she was also a nurse in her heart, sensitive and caring, concerned and wanting to help in any way she could.  Her lasagna was delicious!  She loved Fuzzy Navels, Nutty Irishmen and Brenda’s Mocha Martinis!

A Memorial Service for Janis will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. James, 117 N. Lafayette Blvd., South Bend, IN.  Friends may visit with the family on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the church.  Inurnment will take place at St. James Columbarium.  Palmer Funeral Home – Guisinger Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
