Jeremy Layn Hostetler

Jeremy Layn Hostetler, 41, of LaPaz, IN passed away at 11:24 a.m. Sunday, September 20, 2015 as the result of a train accident in LaPaz, IN.  He was born on July 27, 1974 in Bremen, IN and has remained a lifelong area resident.

Jeremy is survived by his four children, Andrew Hostetler, Zachary Hostetler, Neal Hostetler, and Isabel Hostetler, all of Plymouth, IN; his parents,  Debra M. (James) Detweiler of Goshen, IN and James R. (Linda) Hostetler of LaPaz, IN; brother, Adrian (Nicole) Hostetler of Plymouth, IN; grandparents, Neal and Roberta Hostetler of Plymouth, IN and Wilma LeClercq of Florida; the mother of his children, Stephanie Cannon,  of Plymouth, IN; and his girlfriend, Shellie Dillon of LaPaz.

Jeremy was employed by Forest River RV.   He was a member of the LaPaz American Legion.  Jeremy enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, and he loved his family.  Jeremy will be dearly missed.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015 at the Palmer Funeral Home, 314 S. Michigan St., Lakeville, IN where a prayer will follow. Afterwards, everyone is invited to celebrate Jeremy's life at the American Legion in LaPaz.
