Jimmy “Shotgun” Don Shaw Jr., age 66, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away at 6:00 AM on Wednesday May 17th, 2017.
Jimmy was born on September 12th, 1950 in Centralia, Illinois to the late Jimmy Don and Mary (Ward) Shaw. He was married to Sharon “Pistol” Lundy, who survives along with two sons, Chuck and his wife Suzie Lundy of Mishawaka and Alan and his wife Rachael Lundy of South Bend. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren, Tiffany, Lillian, Marissa, Alayna, Tori, and Cassidy; and four great grandchildren, McKenzie, Robert Jr., Farah, and Sandra. He is also survived by a twin brother, Bobby Dale Shaw of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and he is preceded in death by one brother, Randy Shaw.
Jimmy served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW #360.
Funeral services will be held at 12 o’clock noon on Saturday May 20th, 2017 at Palmer Funeral Home River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN 46615, where friends may visit with the family two hours prior to services. “Last Ride” to follow after services.
