John Paul Merritt

John Paul Merritt, 46, of Pokagon, MI passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017.  He was born on November 3, 1970 in Niles, MI.

John is survived by his mother, Mary I. (Lacy) Dodd of South Bend, IN; two sons, Jason Lee Merritt and Paul Ryan Merritt, both of Florida; sister, Kelly Marie Dodd of South Bend, IN, brother, Michael Merritt of Niles, MI and stepfather, Eugene Dodd.  He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dean Merritt and brother Eugene Dodd Jr.

John graduated from Niles High School and was self employed.  He loved gardening, planting vegetables and flowers.
