Notre Dame - Kathleen M. McLemore, 79, residing at Holy Cross Village, passed away at 9:15 am Monday, June 8, 2015 in Hospice House of South Bend. She was born June 16, 1935 in Bristol, England to the late Arthur and Ruby (Ockwell) Norman. She moved to the United States from England in 1954.
In January 1988 in South Bend, Kathleen married Craig McLemore, who survives. In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Dennis) Sharp of Granger; step daughters, Stephanie and Lisa McLemore, both of Virginia; grandchildren, Adam (Allison) Sharp of Simpsonville, SC and Valerie (Dustin) Smith of McDonough, GA; and step grandchildren, Sophia and Ellery McLemore of Virginia. She is also survived by siblings, Christine (Paul) White, Marlene (Geoff) Scarr, John (Carolyn) Norman, Bill (Sandra) Kyle, Graham Kyle and Les Kyle, all of England.
Memorial services for Kathleen will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Our Lady of Holy Cross Chapel in Dujarie House at Holy Cross Village, Notre Dame, IN, where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services. Kathleen’s grandson-in-law, Dr. Dustin Smith, will officiate. Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
