Kenneth Eugene Morgan

Kenneth Eugene Morgan, 64, of North Liberty, IN passed away at 3:55 p.m. Monday, January 26, 2015 at his home .  He was born on October 31, 1950 in Cairo, IL to Floyd Eugene  and Virginia Mae (McCarver) Morgan.  He was united in marriage on December 18, 1971 in Gorham, IL to the former Mary Ann Downen.

Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Morgan; son, Bradley Eugene (Amy Marie) Morgan of Walkerton, IN; two grandchildren, Andrew Eugene Morgan and Aubrey Marie Morgan; father, Floyd E. Morgan of Murphysboro, IL and sister, Kathy (Jack) Stueve of Ava, IL.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia M. Morgan.

Mr. Morgan, formerly of Murphysboro, Illinois, was a farmer and outdoorsman at heart.  He began a lifelong career as an extrusion foreman for Conalco Aluminum  in Murphysboro before moving his family to North Liberty, Indiana where he remained for the past 26 years.   He worked as a foreman for Wells Aluminum and Hydro Aluminum in North Liberty and then with AACOA Aluminum in Niles, MI. 

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Palmer Funeral Home, 202 N. Main St. North Liberty, IN.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty, IN.  Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
