Kevin Kapitan

Kevin Kapitan, 52, of Mishawaka, IN left this world peacefully in his sleep on Friday morning, October 14, 2016 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death in April of this year by his older brother, Kerry. Kevin is survived by his parents, Al and Shirley Kapitan of South Bend; brother, Kirby; sister, Linda; nephew, Jason and niece, Nicole, all of Mishawaka.

Kevin worked in his father’s business, Typewriter Service Center, in South Bend. He became very good at servicing typewriters and enjoyed the business. With the advent of computers taking over for typewriters, business slowed and his father was forced into another line of work. Kevin took over the Typewriter Service Center for many years and closed up about two years ago.

Services will be held on Friday, October 21st at 2:00pm at Palmer Funeral Home -River Park with Pastor Bob Vale presiding.  Visitation two hours prior to Friday's service.  Interment will follow at Southlawn Cemetery in South Bend.
