Laurie Ann Dodez

Laurie Ann Dodez, 50, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at her residence in South Bend, IN. She was born on July 11, 1967 in South Bend to Lawrence Miller and Judith Hertel.

Laurie is survived by daughters, Ashley (Corey Grudzinski) Hertel and Tabitha (C.J. Mathewson) Dodez, both of South Bend; son, Eric (Stephanie Tucker) Dodez of South Bend; four grandchildren, Aaliayh Rowe, Shilah Rowe, Christopher Rowe, Jr., and Madison Rowe; two grandbaby girls; mother, Judith Hertel; five sisters, Tammy (James) Pogotis of South Bend; Candance (Thomas) Henry of South Bend; Holly Hertel of Mishawaka; Elnore Jones of Tennessee; Melody (Greg) Berlin of Tennessee; and brothers, Lawrence (Tiffany) Hertel of Mishawaka, and Christopher Hertel of South Bend. Laurie was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Miller.

Laurie was employed at Go Green To Clean.

Funeral services for Laurie will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Palmer Funeral Home—Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN. Pastor Michael Hetrick will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00am-1:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
