Linda Marie Wallace

Linda Marie Wallace, 62, of South Bend, IN passed away at 4:23 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Memorial Hospital.  She was born on February 12, 1953 in Phillipsburg, PA to the late James and Anna (Unger) Gebhardt.   On April 18, 1992 in Chicago, IL, she married Kenneth Joseph Wallace, who survives.

Along with her husband, she is survived by five daughters, Theresa (Jimmy) Demetriou of South Bend, IN, Stacy (Darren) Boggs of South Bend, IN, Kristine (Monroe Harris) Wallace of South Bend, IN, Kimberly Shrewsbury of Mishawaka, IN and Nicole (Matt) Warren of South Bend, IN; two sons, Kenneth (Amber Cooper) Wallace of Union, MO and Victor Alesi of South Bend, IN; thirteen grandchildren, Azia, Jeramie, Kiara, Jacinda, Max, Makayla, Jimmy, Anastasia, Olivia, Gabby, Alexander, Brock and Tyler; three sisters, Helen (Jeff) Schriefels of South Bend, IN, Rose Hume of Sun City West, AZ and Jamie McDevitt and three brothers, John (Elaine) Unger of South Bend, IN, Mike Unger of TN and Tony Unger of Chicago, IL.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Dominic and brother, Joseph Unger.

Mrs. Wallace lived most of her life in Chicago and South Bend.  She was a member of the South Side Baptist Church in South Bend. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the South Side Baptist Church, 1130 Jackson Road, South Bend, IN.  Pastor Scott Smith will officiate.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church.  Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel is assisting the family.
