Lois F. Miles

Lois F. Miles, 92, of Bremen, IN passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017.  Lois Miles was born on June 2, 1924 in Meservey, Iowa.  She has been a resident of Bremen for the past forty-five years, coming from Highland, IN.  On August 7, 1942, she married John J. Miles in Chicago, IL where he was stationed at Great Lakes Naval Station before being shipped to the Pacific during WWII.  John preceded her in death on September 16, 2002.

Mrs. Miles owned and operated a beauty salon in Highland, IN before retiring to Bremen in 1972.

Mrs. Miles is survived by a sister, Fredonna Tiffany in Jewell, Iowa; daughter, Kathleen (John) Starcevich; three grandchildren, Kristine (Andy) Manges, John J. (Naomi) Starcevich and Stephen (Amanda) Starcevich; seven great grandchildren, Ashley (Nate) Parker, Daniel Starcevich, Andrea Manges, Jacob Starcevich, Alicia Manges, Brian Starcevich and Joseph Starcevich.

A private family service will be held.  Palmer Funeral Home-Lakeville is handling the arrangements.
