Loren was a great person. We became lifelong friends while working together at the "Welfare Department" (FSSA_DFC) when it was on Sample Street. Very intelligent...more so than many realized. We could talk about almost anything, casual or serious, usually with some witty humor interjected, sometimes for hours. He had a great sense of humor! Having a passion for the movies, I could always count on Loren for the answer to most any movie industry question I may be wondering about. He cared about the well being of people, and all animals...especially cats. I was lucky to have spent time with Loren just prior to his passing. I will always miss him...already do! My condolences to the Jones family. God bless you all. God bless and keep my buddy "Bud" until we meet again!

Loren was a great guy! We met working at the "Welfare Department" (FSSA-DFC) when it was on Sample Street. We became life long friends. I always enjoyed our times together in and outside of work. We could talk about almost anything, be it casual or serious, but Loren's witty humor would usually be interjected. Loren cared about others, and animals...especially cats. A very intelligent guy, we could talk for hours. With a passion for movies, I could always count on Loren to answer any question I may have about the industry. I was lucky to have spent time with him just prior to his passing. I will always, and already do, miss him! Rest in PEACE good buddy "Bud." God bless you, and us all!

Loren's Family--
I worked with Loren for many years at the "welfare" office. Loved his sense of humor. He will be greatly missed. Until I see you again my friend, keep smiling and laughing. :)

I worked with Loren at South Bend Lathe and he was always such a fun person. So very sorry to hear this news but he was a very special person, one who made being at work tolerable! Great guy 💐💐💐

My wife and I are sorry to hear about Lorne's (Lor Knees) passing. I will always remember the fun Cuz (another of his nicknames from long ago) and I had at the Youth Building dances in Walkerton. He was one of the people my wife always hoped would be at the class reunions. He was a good guy.
