Maria Cavazos

Maria Cavazos, 73, of South Bend, IN passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at home.  She was born on July 25, 1941 in Limon, Jalisco, Mexico to the late Manual and Rosario (Lopez) Larios. 

Mrs. Cavazos is survived by her husband of forty-five years, Modesto Bueno Cavazos; daughter, Marina Cavazos; son, Joel (Rosa) Cavazos; three grandchildren, David Cavazos, Joel Cavazos, Jr. and Abel Cavazos; sister, Elena Santana and two brothers, Jorge Larios and Luis Larios.  She was preceded in death by her son, David Cavazos. 

Mrs. Cavazos has lived in South Bend for the last twenty years coming from California. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 15, 2015 at Christ Chapel, 3402 Locust Road, South Bend, IN.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Friday at the church.  Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
