Marjorie Mae Morris

Marjorie Mae (Kliever) Morris was born on April 24, 1933 in Dallas, Oregon, to Henry and Martha Kliever. She grew up in Dallas, graduating from Dallas High School 1951. On June 10, 1951 she was married to Robert L. Morris. On June 10, 2016 they celebrated 65 years of Christian marriage.  She and her husband served in ministry together until retiring in 2012.

Marjorie passed from this life on September 15, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, LeRoy Kliever. She is survived by her husband Dr. Robert Morris, and five children: Mrs. Christine (David) Engbrecht of Nappanee, Indiana, Gordon Morris of Portland, Oregon, Greg (Kathy) Morris of Osceola, Indiana, Jeffrey (Terri) Morris of Oskaloosa, Iowa, and Mrs. Julene (Mark) Secor of LaPorte, Indiana. Her survivors also include 10 grandchildren: Scott (Michelle) Engbrecht, Kimberly Engbrecht (Chris) Beall, Cory (Juliana) Morris, Aaron (Grace) Morris, Andee (Matt) Kettlebar, Michaela Morris, Victoria Morris, Tyler (Amanda) Secor, Alyssa Secor, and step-granddaughter Samantha Jazayeri. There are also 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, September 18, 2016 at the Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN.  Pastor David Engbrecht will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.  A private burial will take place at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN.
