Marjorie Gayle Skeens

Marjorie "Gayle" Skeens, 70, of North Liberty, IN passed away at 10:12 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, IN.  She was born on February 17,1948 in Huntington, WV to the late Raymond E. and Esther Mae (Holly) Lloyd. 

Gayle is survived by her daughter, Sabrina G. (Pat) Walden of North Liberty, IN; two grandchildren, Miranda M. Walden and Noah P. Walden, both of North Liberty, IN; four stepsons, Jimmy, Steve, Kenny Skeens and David Chaffin; sister, Gwen Blevins of Huntington, WV; a host of nieces and nephews and her favorite companion, "Marley".  She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Gloma Bumgardner, Patricia Brunty and Kathryn Robinson.

Gayle has lived in North Liberty for the past seven years.  She worked at Cabell County Health Department in WV retiring after twenty-three years of service. Gayle attended First Baptist Church in North Liberty, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the First Baptist Church, 407 W. Elm Street, North Liberty.  Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the services.  Burial will take place at a later date at Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington, WV.
