Mary I. (Lacy) Dodd

Mary I. Dodd, 68, of South Bend, IN passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Hospice House.  Mary was born on July 22, 1948 in Berrien Springs, MI to the late David F. and Ruby (Clark) Lacy.  In South Bend, she married Eugene Dodd, who survives.

In addition to her husband, Mary is survived by a daughter, Kelly Dodd of South Bend; step-daughter, Karen Dodd of Florida; son, Michael Merritt of Niles MI; and stepson, Richard Dodd of Pendleton, IN; sisters, Ruby Frederick and Evenly Robbins both of Niles, MI; and brothers David Lacy and Ivan Lacy, both of Rochester, NH.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sons, John Merritt and Buddy Dodd.

Mary was a lifelong resident of South Bend and attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

In keeping with Mary’s wishes, there will be no services.  Palmer Funeral Home – Guisinger Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
