Mary Ruth Duncan

Mary Ruth Duncan, 84, of South Bend, IN passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 at her home.  Mary was born to Henry and Ora Mae Griffin on June 27, 1932 in Sheldon, MO.  On July 10, 1954 in South Bend, IN she was united in marriage to Melvin Duncan who preceded her in death on May 29, 2000. 

Mrs. Duncan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Her smile and kind nature will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Orval and sister, Mildred; her husband of forty-six years and her grandson, Daniel Mauney.

Mrs. Duncan is survived by her daughter, Barbara Duncan; grandson, Christopher Oliver; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Special thanks for the wonderful care received by the Center for Hospice, especially her nurse, Lori.
