Mary D. (Garner) Fairchild-Lenyo

Mary D. Fairchild-Lenyo, 51, of Plymouth, IN passed away Saturday morning, February 28, 2015 at her home.  She was born on October 15, 1963 in Lake Station, IN to Millard and Maudie (Hood) Garner. 

Mary is survived by her fiancé, Steve Davis of Plymouth, IN; three daughters, Eleanor (Allen) Longacre of Plymouth, IN, Mary Grace Lenyo of Plymouth, IN and Cali Lenyo of South Bend, IN; three sons, Caleb (Jaimie) Fairchild of Wakarusa, IN, Moises Fairchild of Elkhart, IN and Luke Lenyo of South Bend, IN; mother, Maudie Garner of Lake Station, IN; step mother to Stephanie Dutton, Linsey Lenyo, Tony Lenyo, Steven Davis, Brandon Davis, Samantha Davis and Blake Davis; foster mother to many; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Willie (Jack) Czilli of Valparaiso, IN and Mava (Dallas) Bryan of Fishers, IN; brother, Aaron (Deborah) Garner of Lake Station, IN and many extended family and friends.

Mary graduated from River Forest High School in Lake Station, IN.  She was a graduate of Indiana University where she was enrolled in the School of Dentistry.  She was an author of a children's book and loved forensics and non-fiction murder mystery books and shows.  Most of all she loved her family.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend, IN.   Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
