Mary Patricia (Hull) Hatcher

Mary Patricia Hatcher, 73, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on June 13, 1943 in South Bend, IN to the late Donald and Mary Virginia (Smith) Hull.

Mary Pat leaves to cherish her memories her son, Sean (Sandra) Hatcher of Puyallup, WA; two grandchildren, Hayden and Madison; and her brother Ronald (Anita) Hull of South Bend. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Judy Patel.

Mary Pat was a devoted school teacher and Administrator for the South Bend School Corporation before her retirement. Being a teacher was a true calling for Mary Pat she was known to many as an outstanding teacher, especially in remedial reading. Often taking extra time and special care with students who just needed the extra attention.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, March 17, 2017 at St. Mark Missionary Church, 55240 Bittersweet Road, Mishawaka, IN 46545. Where friends may visit with family from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm. Palmer Funeral Home~River Park is assisting the family.
