SOUTH BEND – Mary Louise (Hill) Thrasher, 59, residing in South Bend, passed away at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 5, 2015 at her daughter, Ashley Jones’ home.

Mary  was born on February 27, 1956 in South Bend to the late Harry Hill and Edna Louise (Finchum) Hill McCauley, and has been a lifelong resident, graduating in 1988 with a GED from John Adams High School.  Mary worked as a telemarketer and previously as a waitress at Chippewa Bowling.  She was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and enjoyed attending Elvis Impersonator Concerts.  She also loved playing Bingo and going bowling.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Shelly (Daniel) West of Mishawaka, “Loretta Louise” Deidra (Johnny Baldridge) Allen of Pierceton, IN, “Barbara Ann” Darcy (Wade) Vargo of Goshen, “Dawn Marie” Del Marie Hershberger of Mishawaka, Angel (Thomas) Shidaker of South Bend and Ashley (Hardy) Jones of South Bend; son Brian (Brenda) Egick of Mishawaka; twelve grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services for Mary Thrasher will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka, IN 46615 with one hour of visitation prior to services.  Graveside services will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association of Northern Indiana, 6100 W. 96th Street, Suite 200, Indianapolis, IN 46278.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
