SOUTH BEND- Micahyah D. Crockett, 11 months old, passed away at 12:30 PM on Monday, September 1, 2014 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend. He was born on September 30, 2013 in South Bend, IN to Micahyah D. Greer and Nyesha Crockett, both of South Bend. Along with his parents, Micahyah is survived by his sister, Alaiyah Crockett; grandmothers, Hayah Richardson-Binion of South Bend and Rolanda (Eric) Samples of Elkhart; grandfather, Adain Lewis of Lansing, MI; great grandmothers, Juanita Richardson of South Bend, Addie (Andre) Coleman of IL and Antionette Williams of Elkhart; aunts and uncles, Eric Samples, Jr., Bianca Wiley, Antwon Binion, Jahmesha Irby, Joleisha Frazier, Surryah Morgan, Zamaria Richardson, Dashen Jones, Cory Greer, Jr., Shajuan Greer and Lamar Luten; and great aunts and uncle, La` Jenita (Randall) Anderson, Dewanna Williams and Willie Cornelius. Micahyah was preceded in death by his grandfather, Cory L. Greer; great grandfather, George Williams; great-great grandparents, Robert Woodward, Elizabeth Richardson and Roberta Wiley; and step-grandfather, Johnny Bruins.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend. Pastor Robert Hunt will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM Tuesday until time of services in the funeral home.
