Nancy B. Wilkinson, 51, residing in Granger, passed away at 5:40 pm Thursday, July 30, 2015 in her home. She was born December 27, 1963 in San Bernardino, CA to Leon and Mary (Kennedy) Blazey, Jr. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary.
Nancy graduated from The Laurel School in Cleveland, OH and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN.
On July 26, 1986 in Cleveland, OH, Nancy married William Jason Wilkinson, who survives. In addition to her loving husband of 29 years, Nancy is survived by her daughter, Samantha Wilkinson of Granger; sons, William Ryan Wilkinson of Mishawaka and Alexander Wilkinson of Granger; her father, Leon Blazey of Cleveland, OH; sister, Pamela (Steven) Newell of Denver, CO; brother, Peter (Audra) Blazey of Cleveland, OH; father and mother-in-law, William and Marilyn Wilkinson of South Bend; and her sister-in-law, Mary Lee (Jay) Mattern of Walkerton, IN. Nancy greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 - 8:00 pm Monday, August 3, 2015 in the Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday morning, August 4, 2015. Graveside services and burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend. A public memorial will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, August 4, 2015 in St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Road, Granger.
Expressions of sympathy in memory of Nancy may be donated to the family c/o Palmer Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, to be used by the family to establish a scholarship in Nancy’s name.
